Sydney, Australia – Guild of Guardians (GOG), the mobile squad-based RPG from Immutable Games, has launched its most ambitious update to date. The Shield Breaker event brings a fresh wave of dungeon challenges, gameplay enhancements, and new consumable items, while the introduction of Guild Crafting opens up a collaborative dimension for players eager to work together within their guilds. A New Era of Dungeon Challenges: Shield Breaker Shield Breaker promises to redefine the GOG dungeon experience with a series of dynamic challenges designed to push players’ strategic thinking to the limit. At the core of this event is a revamped progression system that rewards skill and efficiency. Players are tasked with completing increasingly difficult dungeon levels, with their performance scored based on completion time, remaining Guardian health, and overall battle efficiency. Higher scores, measured on a three-star system, unlock better rewards, ensuring a competitive edge for the most strategic players. The event also sees the return of the Bone Golem boss, a familiar yet formidable opponent, and the revival of the ticketing system first introduced during the Endless expansion. Players are given a set number of entry tickets, which must be used judiciously to maximize their progression and rewards. “Shield Breaker builds on the success of Endless, refining the gameplay experience into a more competitive and rewarding event,” said Priya Keshyap, Executive Producer at Immutable Games. “It challenges players to think strategically while introducing new consumables that transform how they approach battles.” New food items have been added to dungeon loot to provide instant advantages during gameplay. These consumables—found in treasure chests or Camp Rooms—allow players to restore Guardian health, resurrect fallen allies, or replenish Skill Energy. By integrating these items into the event, GOG encourages players to adapt their strategies mid-battle, making each dungeon run a unique experience. Collaborative Gameplay Takes the Spotlight: Guild Crafting For the first time, Guild of Guardians introduces a collaborative crafting system through its Guild Crafting beta. Running from December 11 to December 25, the feature enables guild members to pool resources and create Essence Boxes—valuable items that contain Refined Essence, critical for crafting potions and other consumables. Guild leaders can choose to specialize in crafting Amber, Azure, or Crimson Essence Boxes, which can also be traded on secondary markets. This allows guilds to strategize not just within battles but also in resource allocation and market engagement. “This is a monumental moment for us,” said Keshyap. “Guild Crafting is about more than just crafting items—it’s about fostering collaboration within the community. Whether players are crafting off-chain or on-chain assets, there’s something for everyone to engage with.” The crafting system builds on GOG’s core ethos of community-driven gameplay. Guild members must collaborate to gather materials through Guild Boss Battles, decide on crafting priorities, and ensure efficient resource management. Game-Wide Enhancements for a Seamless Experience Alongside the introduction of Shield Breaker and Guild Crafting, GOG has implemented several updates to enhance the overall gameplay experience. Room modifiers and curse triggers have been removed to streamline dungeon navigation, while Guardians now recover 20% of their health between battles, ensuring smoother progression through challenging dungeons. The introduction of a revamped “Tasks” page helps players track their daily objectives and achievements, fostering a more goal-oriented approach to gameplay. Additionally, enemy health percentages are now preserved when a player fails to defeat them, making it easier to resume progress. The Rune Merchant Rooms and battle room rewards have also been adjusted, offering players more engaging and varied options as they advance. The Future of Guild of Guardians With Shield Breaker and Guild Crafting, Guild of Guardians continues to set the standard for mobile RPG innovation. The game, which already boasts a dedicated player base and a vibrant community, is poised to solidify its position as a leader in the Web3 gaming space. “This update represents the next step in delivering on our promises to players,” Keshyap noted. “Whether it’s through competitive dungeon runs or collaborative crafting, we’re creating experiences that resonate deeply with our community.” Players eager to join the action can visit the official Guild of Guardians website to dive into the Shield Breaker event or explore the beta release of Guild Crafting. With these updates, GOG reinforces its commitment to delivering immersive, community-driven experiences that redefine what’s possible in mobile gaming. As players forge ahead into the challenges of Shield Breaker or build alliances through Guild Crafting, Guild of Guardians proves once again that it is not just a game but a thriving, evolving world.4o
