New York, NY – Today marks a significant milestone for Doodles, a next-generation entertainment company, as it officially launches its new music division, Doodles Records. The debut project, a three-song original soundtrack for the short film "Dullsville and the Doodleverse," will be distributed by The Orchard, a Sony Music Company. The film's trailer has just been released, setting the stage for a summer of exciting musical releases. The first EP from Doodles Records will feature award-winning artists such as Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, Swae Lee, Coi Leray, and Kyle Richh, many of whom will also lend their voices to characters in the film. The project will be under the musical direction of Pharrell Williams, promising a high-caliber auditory experience. In line with Doodles' distinctive style, each music release will be accompanied by an animated music video, creatively directed by Doodles founder Burnt Toast and produced by Doodles’ in-house animation studio, Golden Wolf. The tracks will be released progressively leading up to the global premiere of "Dullsville and the Doodleverse" this October. Prior to its wide release, the film will have an exclusive showing at The Toronto International Film Festival this September. DoodlesTV: A New Direct-to-Community Media Platform Doodles is also set to revolutionize its distribution strategy with the launch of DoodlesTV, a direct-to-community (D2C) media platform. This innovative platform will allow fans unprecedented access to music releases, video premieres, and limited edition collectibles. By bridging the gap between creators and their communities, DoodlesTV will empower both artists and fans alike. Starting next week, fans can purchase a DoodlesTV Season 1 All-Access Media Pass, granting early access to upcoming music releases and official music videos, as well as the digital premiere of "Dullsville and the Doodleverse." The soundtrack features notable tracks such as “Not in the Store” by Coi Leray and Pharrell Williams, releasing in early August, followed by “Can’t Hold Me Down” by Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Kyle Richh later in the month. “Doodleverse (Draw Me Closer)” by Swae Lee, Lil Yachty, and Pharrell Williams will be available in September. The Future of Doodles Records Beyond the "Dullsville and the Doodleverse" project, Doodles Records aims to tie major music releases to significant Doodles animation projects. This strategy ensures that the company remains at the forefront of blending music, animation, and technology to create unique content experiences. Julian Holguin, CEO of Doodles, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Music is and will continue to be a core pillar of Doodles, so we’re thrilled to announce the official formation of Doodles Records. Releasing music with some of the most legendary and relevant artists in the world on our first project is a dream come true and a massive source of pride. Moving forward, we will fuse music, animation, and technology to create groundbreaking content experiences that will empower artists and their communities.” About Doodles Doodles is a next-generation art and entertainment company focused on immersive storytelling, live and digital experiences, and lifestyle content.
