Spooky Season is here, and the award-winning maker of phygital collectibles and other forms of future culture, Mighty Jaxx, has just released details about it. Beginning today and running through November 11th on The Sandbox, the enhanced brand experience The MightyVerse Presents: Spooky Season (‘Spooky Season’) will serve as a teaser for the whole experience’s launch in December 2022. This Halloween Special will give horror (and casual) fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to virtually interact with their favorite collectibles from Sideshow’s Court of the Dead and Mighty Jaxx’s original intellectual property (IP), Creepy Cuties.
Together with global toy giant Sideshow Collectibles, Mighty Jaxx has taken its first steps into the metaverse with the release of Spooky Season, a free-to-play metaverse experience built on The Sandbox. The main attraction of the virtual world is an exclusive experience with Sideshow’s Court of the Dead, in which Fans can dance with Death, one of the main characters of the IP, alongside Mighty Jaxx’s original intellectual property (IP), Creepy Cuties.
Together, Mighty Jaxx and Sideshow Collectibles have created a premier experience that will allow fans of all kinds to unite and grow communities through the shared love of collectibles. Their shared dedication to developing a true hybrid “phygital” offering through a platform strategy paves the way for future collaborations and launches that will reimagine the entire fan experience, increasing the latter’s value.
In keeping with its goals of innovation and community building around its Mightyverse, Mighty Jaxx’s new online hub will serve as a meeting place for collectors from all over the world to play together and talk about their shared love of collectibles. This will allow Mighty Jaxx to keep providing its fans with new collectibles and exciting experiences. This new social hub is located in the Mighty Lab inside The Sandbox, and it serves as an example of Mighty Jaxx’s capacity to provide themed experiences in the metaverse.

Mighty Jaxx hired the first-ever metaverse employee, CHXMP, to help players navigate the game. Spooky Season will be hosted by CHXMP, who will also remain in the Mighty Labs, the entry point to Mighty Jaxx’s MightyVerse, to assist players in their future adventures there.
Creepy Cuties, totem-inspired proprietary horror icons inspired by classical mythical characters like the Krampus, Chupacabra, Slit-mouthed woman, and the Hungry Ghost, will join CHXMP for the Halloween special. Players will also get a sneak peek at Mighty Jaxx’s upcoming Creepy Cuties crossover series with D.G.Pals’ interoperable multi-game, multi-genre platform.
Everyone will be able to enjoy the Scary Season event for no charge. Players will enter a dark and twisted world full of mysteries to discover, puzzles to solve, and quests to complete with other players. Players can access the game through the ‘Featured Experiences’ gallery after installing The Sandbox’ Game Maker.
If you can’t make it during the first two weeks, don’t worry; the total experience will be available in December 2022. Players can anticipate whitelisting for future drops, discounts on wearables, hidden exclusive experiences, and more.
